By accessing or using MCAT Pulse, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
MCAT Pulse is a study dashboard designed to help students prepare for the MCAT exam. The service includes study logging, score tracking, content mastery tracking, study planning, and other productivity tools.
You must sign in with a Google account to use MCAT Pulse. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
The MCAT Pulse dashboard is free to use. Premium features such as Pulse+ Coach are offered as optional paid tiers. Payments for premium services are processed securely through Stripe. Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase by contacting support.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into MCAT Pulse. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your study logs, journal entries, or other content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
MCAT Pulse lets you upload content, including screenshots of practice questions, into features such as the Mistake Log. You are solely responsible for any content you upload. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that you own it or have all rights necessary to use it, and that uploading and using it for your own personal study does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
You retain ownership of your content. You grant MCAT Pulse only a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content back to you for the sole purpose of operating and providing the service (for example, parsing a screenshot to auto-fill a question, or showing it within your own log). Uploaded content is stored privately for your individual use. We do not display your uploaded content to other users, we do not make it public, and we do not use it to train AI models. You agree not to use the service to reproduce, distribute, or publicly share content you do not have the right to use. We may remove any content and may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for suspected infringement.
You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with other users, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.
MCAT Pulse respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We do not permit content that infringes the copyright of others, and we will respond to clear notices of alleged infringement.
If you believe content on MCAT Pulse infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at copyright@mcatpulse.com that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (3) identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf. We will remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice expeditiously, and we will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MCAT Pulse and its operator from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to content you upload, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms, including any claim that your content infringes the rights of a third party.

MCAT is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). MCAT Pulse is not affiliated with or endorsed by AAMC.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MCAT Pulse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from content uploaded by you or other users.
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
